We love camping here with our family. Lots of areas to explore, well maintained, friendly staff and camp hosts. Camp sites are far enough apart for some privacy. It’s quiet except for the beautiful sounds of owls, crickets, birds and squirrels. Bathrooms are very clean and the toilet paper is great!

Woke up early and walked a quarter mile to the small lake which was very peaceful.
Very crowded as it is the only site with a lake nearby on the mountain. Would have liked a spot further away from other campers, but didn't expect a lot of choice the last weekend of the summer before the local schools begin (also thought $22 for one night, one car was steep).
It was a lovely place. Fishing and camping is available. There is also a huge covered picnic area with picnic tables that has a bonfire pit and a few grills for cooking. There is a parking lot and restrooms on site that are all very well maintained. It would make a great place for a party or a get together.

Great get away to escape the Phoenix heat! Second time camping here and it is always a nice experience. Always has plenty of camp sites available we stayed at camp site #55 it was on top of a little hill and felt some privacy. Nice location with trees all around and the rest rooms were near by. I would come back but I will not forget some craw fish nets to catch me some crawfish.
